IMI Launch Events – Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

  1. The prize draw is being run by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Southampton, Building 37, Southampton, SO17 1BJ, United Kingdom
  2. To enter, entrants must participate in the jigsaw activity at the event by placing a jigsaw piece on the IMI building image and collecting a prize draw ticket.
  3. This prize draw is limited to residents in the UK who are over 18 years of age and are part of the alumni and supporter community of the University of Southampton.
  4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
  5. Anyone connected in any way with the creation/implementation of the prize draw or their families will not be permitted to enter.
  6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.
  7. The prize draw will take place in person at the end of each event. There will be one prize draw per evening. Eligible events are:
    • A Night Where the Possibilities are Limitless: London on 28 April 2026
    • A Night Where the Possibilities are Limitless: Hampshire on 14 May 2026,
    • A Night Where the Possibilities are Limitless: Guernsey on 20 May 2026, and
    • A Night Where the Possibilities are Limitless: Jersey on 10 June 2026.
      • Entry is only valid for the prize draw taking place at the specific event you attend.
  8. The University accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, ineligible, or corrupted, or for any prize draw tickets that are lost or misplaced. Proof of participation does not guarantee inclusion in the draw.
  9. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid.
  10. Entrants may only submit one jigsaw piece and collect one prize draw ticket per person per event.
  11. Any entries deemed inappropriate by members of the Office of Development & Alumni Relations Team (including but not limited to disruptive behaviour or inappropriate language) will be disqualified.
  12. There is one prize available per event:
    • a. One bottle of Exton Park Cuvee M. Isaac Blanc de Blancs 2015.
    • b. Prizes are allocated per event draw and cannot be transferred to another event.
  13. There are no runner-up prizes for this prize draw.
  14. Winners will be selected at random from eligible tickets at the end of each event, and the winning ticket number will be announced in person at the venue.
  15. Winners must be present at the event to claim the prize. If a winner does not come forward immediately after the winning ticket is announced, the University reserves the right to draw an alternative winner. Please allow a minimum of 15 days for delivery of the prize if it cannot be taken home on the night.
  16. The University’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  17. Prizes are non-transferrable and no cash alternative will be offered.
  18. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the University reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the prize draw without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
  19. The University’s use of any particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
  20. For the purposes of Data Protection, the data controller is the University of Southampton and any inquiries may be addressed to alumni@southampton.ac.uk. The University will not disclose your data to any third parties except with your consent or as required by law.

  22. Winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
  23. To obtain details of the winners, please email alumni@southampton.ac.uk stating the name of the prize draw in the subject heading within four weeks of the closing date.
  24. You are providing your submission to the University of Southampton and not to any other party.
  25. These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  26. By entering the prize draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
