Clean Air South is the name of a new partnership being introduced to tackle air pollution across central southern England.

The University of Southampton’s Future Towns Innovation Hub in Chilworth recently hosted the partnership’s inaugural event. Clean air campaigner Rosamund Adoo-Kissi-Debrah CBE was the guest speaker.

Rosamund, whose daughter Ella’s death in 2012 was attributed to illegal levels of air pollution near their home, spoke powerfully about her loss. They had lived just 30 metres from London’s South Circular Road, one of the most polluted roads in Europe.
