AI Champions announced to drive responsible artificial intelligence in UK health and social care
Professor Tim Underwood of the University of Southampton has been named as one of Responsible Ai UK’s (RAi UK) AI champions.
The Responsible Ai UK (RAi UK) has now set up its AI Champions initiative, designed to improve AI expertise within the NHS and the broader healthcare sector. Professor Underwood, a Professor of Gastrointestinal Surgery at the University of Southampton, is one of those chosen.
This initiative will be instrumental in fostering a network of AI advocates dedicated to advance the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies across the healthcare system.
